So after a couple years of saying "Hey, I'm going to redo this" I finally did it. It took me 3 weeks to completely finish it, near 4 hours to draw the line art, and the rest of the time, I was photoshop-ing it.
So, I took out and added a few things. Compared to the first one, there's only 7 here, unlike the first "Legends" which had 10 or so. I didn't put any hidden characters or any of that this time. So, the listing of Links, starting from top-left to bottom right:
Twilight Princess Link in his shiny new Magic Armour Oni/Fierce Deity Link from Majora's Mask Back to the left, we have kid Link from Ocarina and Majora's Mask In the center, "universal Link" that's seen mostly in every other, non-Zelda game (SC2, SSB/SSBM) Cel-Shaded Link, not very cel-shaded from various games, mainly Windwaker The bottom right corner, Link from Link to the Past and others and finally, classic Link, from the very first Legend of Zelda, and, that's right, I brought back his laser shooting sword.
Pay close attention to the detail and accuracy of this one. I actually got most of Twilight Link's armor correct, except for his gauntlets. I also have the swords and designs mostly correct, some tweaked (made longer, tinner) and I'm happy I brought back Link's classic sword, which I used the cover of Zelda 2 to draw. The background actually has the Triforce phoenix emblem there, it's kind of unclear just because everyone's in the way, but, it's there I'm particularly proud of Twilight Princess Link just because of the texture and coloring overall on him. He's got a nice velvety touch on his sash and hat, while the armor does actually look like and feel like it could be metal. Chainmail was kind of a b*tch, though. That turned out to look like studded leather. Funny thing (not really) about the lineart: I didn't use a ruler for anything..... Forgive my un-originality to OOT Link
Many many hours doing this....worth it Which one is your favorite?
